truth moment. dont mean to bust up everybody "holiday cheer" but nobody is celebrating the birth of jesus christ now, and in the origin of the holiday nobody celebrated the birth of jesus christ. i read the bible but these are the things that piss me off about Christianity because they have allowed so much falsehood to run rampant within communities all in the name of that false hood.
the beginning celebrations of "christmas" which was called yuletide was a day that merchants used to sell they merchandise. christians in they miseducation of they own religion would say well the presents are from the 3 wise men delivering gifts to the king. but now where the hell does this santa who is never referenced in the bible and reindeers and christmas trees come from? they come from that yuletide holiday which was seen as pagan amongst those who believed in god which is why in jerimiah 10:26 those in the church are instructed not to be like the heathens who cut down a tree and deck it with silver and gold. they were talking about those celebrating that yuletide holiday. the church originally banned the day, mainly due to the fact that it was just a day where people got together destroyed things got drunk had wild sex etc. the day got so rowdy that some countries even banned it.
fast forward to late 1800's early 1900's merchants once again wanted a slick way to get they merchandise sold so they brought the yuletide day over to america, except these guys were smarter and slapped the birth of jesus christ on theirs. and even though nothing in the bible and anywhere suggest he was born on dec. 25th christians like blindfolded idiots allowed some store merchants to implement a tradition in their religion.
now a days, the holiday is no more than it was when it was being celebrated in early babylon where the merchant pimps the jesus story to get those who believe in god in the day, they pimp the santa story to get you to spend up all your money to get they items sold, and all the adults like old babylon hit the liquor store get slapped drunk and act a damn fool
then if someone like myself comes to point this fact out, people in order to continue in the holiday will run to a made up day of the birth of jesus to scapegoat themselves just following along in a pagan tradition built on greed, deception and foolishness. we look around and can see thats all it is, but to follow blindly in the holiday we ignore what it has become and pimp the story of jesus to continue in it.
