I think you gotta use a computer program called fruity loops..that's what everyone uses these days..get a mic to record and plug it into your computer..get some speakers so you can hear the music also..get a girl to sing the hook..and someone to play the drums and guitar..

I heard it does..you can go to Walmart and buy a copy of fruity loops and get a top of the line mic from best buy..look to see in the newspaper if they have any coupons for mics..
