He essentially told every non-Christian (especially people of the Islamic faith) that their faith is based on a lie, but his isn't. I'm a believer and a Christian, but you need to respect , or at that least realize, that every person's Higher Power is not that same as yours. It's fairly ignorant to be honest.

Dude used his platform to throw shade on other religions. He could've made the same statement without all of that. People do it all the time.

He can believe he's gods chosen wrestler all he wants, but he deserves some criticism here. This is college wrestling, not the Crusades.

It also appears you've set up a scenario where you can give god and his unlimited power credit for things you choose to, but then can say "why blame god?" when its uncomfortable.
And Jesus technically “threw shade” on other religions so…..

Breh is just making it clear what he believes and I can respect that 100% because most aren’t that bold in today’s society

Isn’t that how god has proven he works with his “children”? He helps people who believe in him and those who choose the alternative route (and don’t thank god for good things in their lives) shouldn’t wave their fists at a power they don’t believe in when bad things happen to them or in general

At the end of the day God can do whatever he wants…. It isn’t for us to understand EVERYTHING

But breh seems to believe his strength comes from Jesus and it’s working so why would he not give thanks and want to share this POV for others on the platform he has been given because of his success.

But isn’t that the whole point of spreading his message and having a platform? It’s his beliefs and he had the spotlight.

He’s taking advantage of the opportunity to say what people don’t want to hear.

If he’s gonna sugarcoat it, he might as well not say anything. Defeats the purpose.

Same as by you saying you’re a “Christian and believer” you by default say every non Christian and Muslim faith is based on a lie so you are “ignorant” by your own logic :manny:

You are better off not mentioning your faith as not to offend anyone with different views :youngsabo:

I don't know how the Mormons always fail to be the punching bag for these subjects. The man says he translated from tablets that only he could read from after leading a mob of violent vagrants through various locations before settling in utah

I thought previously they told athletes not to mention Jesus (like Neymar) :sas1:

This might be a new norm :sas2:
