Samsung is so diversified it won't even hurt them that much. Bad PR though, but they'll bounce back.

its not that simple.
this will hurt the brand, people will be scared to by the next phone.
its nothing like losing 1 out of 100 bucks.

Over a 17 billion dollar loss? Someone in China got killed. Or wherever they made those batteries.
Stans won't be effected. Everybody else probably won't be buying Samsung phones anymore

They can make it through this, but the quality testing on their next phones has to be through the roof. I mean they should already be testing that phone RIGHT NOW for any bugs because folks are gonna exaggerate any issue found in that device

Agree, just like when ppl think poor sales or whatever of Xbox have huge affect on Microsoft.They forget how large the company is.
