Some people's natural hair texture is curly and/or, so if your texture is not, then you will never have curly hair.

Like a lot of AA guys, you can get something kind of similar by using one of those male hair sponge things with the holes in them and a little bit of product.

The guy in the pic looks like the ends of his hair is permed or texturized and the roots are natural.

If you have normal AA hair, your stuff will come out similar to this.

My hair naturally grows out like that if I let it. I'm pretty most AAs have hair like that, I doubt that fukkign sponge brush is doing anything. lol
