A lot of North Africans don't consider themselves Arabs, the Arab culture just took over is how my guy from Morocco and Algeria explained it.

I believe Afghans and Iranians too, whole different people. That whole middle east/Arab world is complicated to understand.

Bro too many facts and not enough emotions, these fools just want to say the word colonizers not actually talk about it.

Israel is the only benefitery of colonization in the world. The Arab just poor persecuted people :mjcry: never did nothing to anybody.

They had indigenous Africans in chains for 600 years and made them eunuchs as well.

G-d bless these poor lost souls.

:wow:

Damn!….the Originals were Black!? I never Knew!!

So if the Arabs were Minority then…could they be minority now still?

This campaign started with the Arab-Islamic conquests of neighbouring nations, through these invasions nations were made to submit to the new religion, Islam, as well as submitting to a whole new identity, the identity of the invader. Languages were banned, new generations opened their eyes to one language, Arabic, albeit Arabic dialects which carry much of the regional languages to this day. In fact, it’s almost impossible for an ‘Arab’ from Iraq to understand an ‘Arab’ from Morocco, and vice versa. After all, why would a Moroccan understand Babylonian or Sumerian words? And why would an Iraqi understand the Afro-Asiatic Tamazight/Berber language?

most on the coli don’t fukk with sand cacs but we don’t fukk with the small hats either .

I didn't know the "Arabs" during the "golden age" were essentially Persian scholars and who were secular.

my mind is blown right now...Arab nationalism and islamic anti-intellectualism really did damage on why that region fell behind :mindblown:

Dudes here have mad struggle logic. They think by speaking in defence of innocent Palestinians that you automatically sanction Hamas or Arabs. Just so many logic leaps made in every topic discussed here. Everything is about choosing sides.

As far down as Sudan and Somalia you will find many Jet Black people who consider themselves Arab. I have personally witnessed Sudanese people recoil at being called Black.

The convergence of Islam and Arab culture did a number on North Africa. As did their culture of enslavement. When their kids grow up in the west they consider themselves Black though because they are defaulted into that category like it or not. I've met Egyptians proud to be Black and some that called that were not. South Sudanese are proud to be brehs. But from Sudan itself I seen some epic c00ns.

whats wild is that this ALL happened relatively recently.

The rigidity of islam of being blood in, blood out, essentially put a death wish on anyone looking to pull out of the religion.

Christianity had been around for a half millennia by this point when this all took off.

This is why I'm so secular in my own life. We see examples of this "colonialism" over and over again.

This is BS there are regional dialects but for the most part people do understand one another. Maghrebi Arabic is quite different but they can still communicate in a more standardised version of Arabic.

Do more research Apu

Probably due to the fact that Islam arabicised everyone
