People don't like to admit it but Dame had to be a azzhole with a lot of them nikkas,them SP boys still got into shyt but at least they wuz productive.

And there's sumthing to be said about bein a azzhole in this business,is there any question the labels who put out the most quality had a azzhole or a nikka that artist feared at the top of the food chain...whether it be the possible physical violence and intimidation from Suge or just the threat of having to hear Puffy or Dames mouth...they seem to get the best results out of they producers and rappers...I wish sum of these new nikkas was scared to get beat down and screamed on.

They (Jay, Dame, Biggs) sold Rocafella to Def Jam, so there was no way Hov could take it from him. Jay only got it back in part of the deal to become CEO/President of Def Jam, and even after that, he offered to give Rocafella back to Dame for his percentage of the RD masters, but Dame declined.
