Tidal doesn't have many paying subscribers. I've heard people say that they plan on canceling after their free trial is over. He can't compare himself to spotify or apple, they were there first. They didn't start during a time when there were other businesses who were already popular/successful for almost a decade that offered the same thing to consumers.

then that should have been one of the biggest selling points instead of having a satire-esque press conference with some one of the most successful artists in music doing terrible Steve Jobs impressions asking the poor to spend even money to make them a few thousand richer.
him actually tweeting about Tidal speaks volumes more than any of the decent points he may have brought up
