What a shot :wow: One of those home runs you want to see go without anything getting in its way to see where it would end up

Shohei is just fukkin insane. He didn’t really do bad on the mound, 7ip, but made up for it with scoring 3 runs and driving 3 runs . Almost had a cycle twice this season now. He will get back to dominating on the mound soon enough.

Last season Taylor Ward got off to a great start.

He wasn’t as elite as the season went on but there was hope he would be a strong hitter in 2023.

As of this writing he’s OPSing .672.
I expect things to improve for him but it could be a concern for LAA. They need him to do well to contend for a Wild Card spot.

Speaking of the AL West…

Oakland Athletics’ Brett Rooker is crushing things right now. But if you believe the projections his K rate is expected to balloon as the year goes on.

If it does, he’s a fantastic Sell High candidate right now.

If he somehow manages to keep his strikeouts down, he’s an MVP candidate.

Frankly, I have to think his numbers start tanking. Oakland just isn’t very good and on top of his strikeouts regressing to the mean, you have to figure he gets fewer and fewer pitches to hit.

In his last 7 games he’s OPSing .720.
If you’re gonna sell, do it quickly.

If you want a Buy Low candidate,

For a hitter I’d say Jose Abreu. He’s not going to crush it the rest of the way. But he’s probably a Top 10 fantasy first baseman. I wouldn’t give up a ton to get him. But he’d be a nice stash to play in the Flex/Utility.

For a pitcher, go get Chris Sale. There’s always injury risk with him. But he’s got a 5.40 ERA and he’s way better than that.
