Jasson Dominguez aka The Martian, is hitting .167 in AA this season.
It's a process. I don't know how many times fans have to go through the same routine.

You see a kid have a great season in the minors. Maybe even a great Spring Training. And you start whining that the team's GM is being a bytch and they need to call the kid up to the majors right away. Only for reality to set in and realize that the kid needs more work to be successful at the highest levels.

You see it with the hype over Dominguez in the Yankees thread. Or read the hype over Jordan Walker in the Spring Training/Cardinals threads.

What stands out to me more than the .167 average at AA is that Dominguez has 24 walks in 23 games. If he's developing his patience, that's something to be excited about. The average will figure itself out with more time.

That said, I read a rumor this Spring that the Yankees would consider trading Dominguez to Milwaukee if Corbin Burnes ever became available. Yankees fans were furious. Honestly, I don't think it's a bad idea. Especially if Burnes regains his K-rate.

The Padres are 3 games behind the Dodgers. Tatis is back and Soto is heating up.

You figure Snell will pitch better moving forward.

People should absolutely be concerned.

I picked them to win the NL West and the Dodgers to grab a WC spot.

Based on talent alone, Padres are absolutely better than the Dodgers (on paper).

That scoreboard graphic was funny in a pathetic way.

Only one team in mlb history has made the postseason after a 11-24 start & that was over 100 years ago like 1914. Cubs can finish these mf’s if they win this series
