Heard on a podcast that the same up who ejected Scherzer is also the ump in the only 2 other ejections since they started cracking down like this. So this ump obviously got a way different standard than the rest of the umps which is a problem.

And the 10 game suspension is mandatory for anyone caught using an illegal substance so it's not an extra punishment they just made up. Still stupid but there is a reason
