We get that he's gonna take his lumps here and there, but that kid got a future and truth be told, it's basically up to him and Volpe to determine whether the Yankees will amount to anything for the next decade and a half. He's not Pena. He's not Elly. Elly's cool but Marte was the bigger prize in the system.

Pena's already 26. Dominguez is 20. Pena has been gravy for y'all. Y'all got a roster so deep that Pena can be what he was this year and you can deal with it. Long view, Dominguez has to be at worst the 2nd best offensive player on the team going forward. That's why we're banking so much on his development. If not him, then Judge really is just Donnie Baseball 2.0.
