How is Michael Chavis on a major league roster?
I know this seems like a strange bone to pick here. But here's a guy...28 years old. A career .238/.284/.403 hitter. A career 83 OPS+. A negative career WAR value across 351 major league games.

Just...why? I know he's a backup. But clearly the Nationals have a better player than this guy.

Former 1st round pick and big-time prospect for the Red Sox. Those kinda guys hang around a lot longer than they probably should in all sports :manny:

Had no idea about this Pablo Lopez dude until he pitched a gem today against my Mets.

Twins gave him no run support so he got an No Decision for his efforts :heh:

Twins fans were upset all year that they traded a .350 hitter with no power, speed or great defense for an actual #1 starter and someone who gives them a shot in the playoffs. Arraez is great but one of the few times the twins cashed on having too many of one position and turning it into a good SP

Damn, I feel for breh. Dude was the only reason Yankees fans were still watching with them out of playoff contention.

That last sentence in that tweet would make me hopeful for 2024 if I was an Yankees fan.

If this tweet is on point he should be back by Memorial Day weekend 2024.
