I have not been paying attention to the details.

As good as Atlanta has been, and they are the best team in baseball, Spencer Strider has a 3.83 ERA as of this writing (I'm looking at tonight's in-game box score).

So yeah, I think the Cy Young may be going elsewhere.



Maybe Wheeler. Maybe even Steele if he finishes strong.

Very possible that Severino can reboot his career elsewhere.

I could see him taking a chance on Miami or Tampa. Maybe even Houston. Somewhere south where he’s close to DR and warm weather. And those teams have done some good things with pitchers in recent years.

Goodness. Imagine if he got fixed in Atlanta and they rolled out Strider, Fried and then Severino takes over Charlie Morton’s spot?

His slider is still effective, he just was extremely inefficient his last start against us. 76 pitches in 3 innings in a regular season game ain’t gonna cut it.

Dodgers are going to win the division, but I doubt we get past the NLDS this year due to injury.
