And that means exactly what after it has already flooded your house/car?
Been through 10+ major storms In this house so far and water hasn’t even sniffed our crib. Ours was built in 04 on a 6 foot raised hill so the entire community we are in does fine. All of us should be inside quarantined and the cars stay in the garage so I’m gully, hope everyone in here has a good situation they are in for this storm since it’s about to get real outside.

That’s your situation, all i’m saying is Houston is big AF and every side is different so you can’t just say Relax when you already know how bad some spots get hit. Im close to Katy so im chill, But I bet Nobody in greenspoint is thinking about chilling right now.

best thing to do is pick up outside your patio's that could fly away and cause damage. I seen a model showing it moving West and hitting us. I plan on staying. If not, i'll go to my brothers crib in round rock.

Breh the entirety of Houston doesn't stay in your community and if you've been here long enough I'm sure you know that isn't the situation everywhere. Not sure why you are being obtuse.

Anyway this is going to be more like Ike and less like Harvey anyway. I'm not worried about the flooding, more worried about the wind damage and possibly being without power for a number of days.

All these out of towners terrified of the hurricane. As long as your not in a flood plane you should do fine
There's a lot of flood planes though breh lol. Not to mention a lot of them will effect how traffic flows in the aftermath.

Define "fine" because I think everyone is stuck on flooding and I don't think this is going to be that kind of storm. The aftermath of Ike was horrible for a lot of people. To me that is much more of a concern.

Just worried about my huge tree in the front yard. Might have to start trimming tonight. I'm hearing this wind gonna be a little crazy. Rain won't be too bad though but who knows.
