C'mon now y'all are sounding like people that post on FB and I imagine most of you are smarter than that. While your area may have been spares for the most part other area weren't. There were at least 4 tornadoes between last night and now and other areas of Houston have seen rain most of the day. And the forecast was always off and on rain starting yesterday with the heavy stuff starting late tonight into the beginning of the week. We aren't in the clear yet.

Pretty much. And it looks like this shyt about to wrap around and go back to Sienna.

Nah... Cypress got hit a couple of hours ago just like Sienna did last night.
Yea my bad on this I spoke too soon. As soon as I posted 30 minutes later a huge band of rain and wind hit and dumped a good 5-6 inches in less than 30 minutes. The water on my porch was getting high but thank god it stopped. I've never seen this much water fall that fast:lupe:

And we might get hit by 2 more bands in the next 12 hours

I am in Pearland but the rest of Houston looks fukked, and it's still raining. Need a break to at least let some of this rain drain. But the way the remnants of Harvey is moving it doesn't look good.
Same here. Houston is about to be underwater if this rain doesn't let up.

Pearland, Sugarland, Katy, and Cypress are all getting extremely lucky right now. In between the outer band and hurricane.
The only problem is, the storm ain't finished yet. You got people with 15 inches in their house right now. That's more than double my height :damn: That would flood my whole apartment.

:damn: It depends on what part of Houston you are in but this sucks man :damn:

Where I am, we got hit last night but it wasn't as bad. But if you are on the Northside or Eastside, :damn:
Im thinking about moving. So west Houston is where i should move to if i dont want to run into hurricane trouble in the future?

Gotta do research on your neighborhood. Right now where I'm at in Pearland we have no street flooding but my neighborhood also has a retention pond. But if we get it again like last night we'll likely see some flooding in my area too.
