Damn...for real?? That was a real nice spot, and provided at least one majority black presence on Washington Ave. I high key hate that it closed....
Did it close for financial or safety reasons?
Maybe a developer got hold of spot?
Yea it wasn't that great a spot but served it's purpose as a get-in get-out sunday detour. I'd basically come in with the homies, eat some wings, holla at some females and get out. It got way too crowded. And then i be hearing some ignorant shyt was going on in the parking lot for those who stayed late into the night, cars gettin broken in along that strip everybody tries parking at. I was good on thatIt was a good look, but like most spots out here, entirely too small. I could only be there for an hour and a half at the most without feeling claustrophobic.

I was chillin with one of their waitresses/bottle girls at this other spot and she told me that shyt got closed down like on Monday but they didn't let any of the girls know they were permanently shutting down until the day or two before, basically on that weekend
She feels they didn't want to give em any type of week or two notice bc owners may've felt the girls would just bounce/not show up. I think she mentioned it'd only been open on weekends the last few weeks (months?) or so.
It may've been money issues, not keepin up with rent/mortgage.
SMH...
Why she wait so long though?

Rapper Z-RO Arrested for Allegedly Beating Ex-GF for Hours
EXCLUSIVE
Rapper Z-RO was arrested after allegedly beating his ex-gf in an assault that lasted over 2 hours ... TMZ has learned.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the ex, rapper Just Brittany, reported the incident Monday to Harris County cops, but said it actually happened back in April. It's unclear why she waited 3 months to report it, but we're told Brittany played cops recorded audio of the alleged incident.
Sources say cops wrote up a report and immediately sent it to the Harris County District Attorney's Office, which determined it was enough to arrest the Houston icon Wednesday and charge him with felony aggravated assault. He's being held without bond.
Just last year, the couple recorded the now interestingly titled track, "Mama Should've Told Me."
