Saw Channel 2 news/weather hours ago. They said either Wednesday afternoon or Wednesday night. It's always changing so I'm a check the weather in an hour. Wal-Mart (:scust:).........barely had sh*t on the shelves lol. Saw Mexicans buying nothing but beer :pachaha:and white folks buying Spam (:gucci:) and water. Hell we're all set but need a few more things tomorrow morning. They also said the wind was going to be about 45 mph so that's not too bad, just a bad thunderstorm. But be careful and safe all my Houston folks. Mama and I will be chillin for the next 2 or 3 days. :obama:
Made all my grocery saturday :blessed:

please please dont let us lose power and ruin all my shyt in the freezers

My biological dad was born in Opelousas and he lived around a small town called Mallette (?). I'm not even sure where in the hell that is lol

It seems like Houston has Louisiana people by the payload....never expected to see so many black folks with French last names in Texas. Didn't realize how close Texas and Louisiana are culturally....North Carolina has definitley no French influence, and Spanish last names didn't start showing up until the last 15 years or so..

I stay running into folks from Louisiana lol. I hate it when folks that know my mom ask "is that your youngest?" then all of a sudden they start speaking Creole and I'm all :mjcry:. None of us speak it but when I give em that look they laugh lol. And my dad's last name was originally Dorsey but someone told me he ended up being adopted so he took on the name Broussard. I don't have either name lol. And there are a lot of folks that speak Creole as well. I wish I could speak it :mjcry:
