When Watson stays clean he is easily on the elite side of active qb’s. Unfortunately we just haven’t been able to see much of that with a garbage O line.
Yeah I’ve seen him literally run right into coverage sacks on the line or his linemen expecting the ball to be out already on a timing play and don’t want a holding call which allows blockers into the pocket which also ends up in a sack. He will clean it up though, I get a very different vibe from Watson than I do from RG3Well some of the blame goes to Watson too. He has a habit of holding onto the ball way too long looking for the homer run play. Against the Falcons he was way quicker getting the ball out of his hands.
