Hopkins hasn’t had a 100yd game all year and Watt has been on a milk carton all season until last week. Hopkins will have 150yds and 2 TDs and Watt will have multiple sacks and TFLs today. That’s how it works around these parts.

I’m shocked that Hopkins at that TD with relative pedestrian stats. Watt was mauling Scharping the whole game, so props to him for his second notable game of the year I guess.
Bless the defenses’ heart though. They did all they could but Kelly’s play calling plus Mills seeing another good-great defense made it hard for them. The defense would get off the field and next thing you know it’s 3rd and 16, a shytty screen gets called or a run up the guy with somebody (usually Johnson) that can’t actually run gets stuffed and they’re punting again. Tyrod Taylor isn’t winning 10 games in a row, so at 1-6, outside of Cooks, you may as well get rid of every big contract on this team and load up on all the picks you can handle and get on with the restart.

Cooks is mostly pissed cause he’s tired of being traded and knows there’s a chance he’s on the block. I bet if they came to him with an extension he’s take it. He’s been wanting to be settled for a long time.
Also, they need to now get Scottie Phillips, Jimmy Moreland, and Brevin Jordan on the field already. You’re 1-6 with no shot at the playoffs even if Tyrod goes on a hot streak.
