You don’t just “move on” from the qb with the most passing yards last season :comeon:

In this situation, you very much do, especially since he’s already moved on from them. He will not play for the Texans and people need to realize that. There’s a good chance he doesn’t play in the NFL at all this year with how legal stuff can drag out.

We waiting all this time for a franchise QB. I can’t fuk with this team without Watson. Bad enough BOB fuked this team with their picks
It started off great with 4 straight South crowns and playoff appearances but it ended the worst with Watson on the outs and the dumbest trade in sports history

I hated when BOB made that stupid comment about “AFC south champs” to the reporter. It’s like they were content with a division title. Our best shot at a super bowl under Watson went down the drain once they blew that 24 point lead against KC. That shyt was so devastating

It really was. All they had to do was turn it into a 24 point lead track meet and run the clock out while kicking field goals the rest of the game and hope it was a squeak out win. Beating the Chiefs in arrowhead would’ve sealed a super bowl win for sure with that kind of momentum.

Yep, and want to know what happened right after that loss? Watson went to bat for O’Brien saying how much he meant to him, and O’Brien was rewarded with a 6 year extension. That was the beginning of the end right there.

First preseason game tonight. I’ll end up probably catching the second half live depending on the score. Really just waiting on Watson to be traded or put on the exempt list and for the 53 man roster to be set.

Random notes after backtracking. It's preseason obviously and not all your guys are playing, but as far as the guys actually on the field.

- Linebackers look much faster instead of playing flatfooted and slow. Gruiger-Hill, Kirksey, and Nickerson are guys to watch.
- DEs have some speed and can get up the field to attack, but King and Mitchell look to be assets
- Nico will be a factor on this team, but I felt that way as soon as he was drafted.
- OL needs work, but managed to keep drives alive and opened up holes.

So many guys were signed this year, and there most definitely will be some good players that get cut. Very curious to how the RBs, DEs, and WRs shake out. The TE will be an interesting spot too. They signed re-signed Pharoah, Brevin is the draft pick, Izzo from the Pats, Auclair from the Bucs, Akins, and a draft pick holdover in Warring.

Read that Nico and Brevin had great camps.

Offense will still be a work in progress, but the defense and special teams could be very solid. Seems like guys are being coached well.

Random, but there’s a play where Charlie Heck pulls and takes off to block for I think Scottie Phillips, and it’s about 6 yards or so, and the speed Heck built up was scary, and I didn’t even know he had that type of athletic ability. That’s the type of blocking you need from your linemen. I was very impressed by that.
