I can honestly see Green and Thompson being the best backcourt in the league.

They are really good and intimidating to play against.
Thompson needs a lot of work to be a starting pg. he can’t handle pressure defense and can’t beat double teams. He can’t run a halfcourt offense. I like him as a point forward but I’m skeptical as a pg. he needs more development there.

Rockets have three elite athletes (like too 5 in the league) on their roster and they all are different beasts.

  • Amen - pure and effortless(he has the best second jump in the league)
  • Jalen - fast and springy. Elite first step and levitation
  • Cam - power and explosive

Hope the Rockets have been focusing more on the Mavs than the Warriors. Cause if they lose the Mavs game, that Warriors game may be a wash. Great escape vs the Jazz though. I had a feeling the Jazz would play harder not only cause it was in Utah, but cause they were gonna try to avenge that monster beating the Rockets put on them previously. Jalen went off the the second half, Amen continues to be a terror on defense, and then when Jalen was gassed, FVV took them home with some lucky shots down the stretch. I don’t know how this season will end, but they’ve more than overachieved, but just like the Texans, I don’t want this to end.

Yeeeaaaa looks like they’re pretty much all but out of the play-in. Warriors have continued to win and other teams of course conveniently start choking. Mavs did all that garbage against us but had no answer for Andrew Wiggins. Rockets would have to win out, including beating the Warriors, and hope the Warriors lose more of their games.

I’m so glad the Knicks traded for Bridges. I never thought the Rockets would but just in case, I’m glad that happened. They forked over entirely too much for a guy they think is peak Paul George who is really Super Corey Brewer. By 2027, the Suns should be trash.

We are positioning ourselves to make some type of move, and I don’t think it’s for Durant.
I would not at all make a move for a 35 year old KD that played the most games he has in maybe 5 years and is surely to not do that again. Now if you wanna trade Landale/Tate/Jeff Green for him, go right ahead lmao.

I think Stone is jsut refilling the well. The Nets well was almost up. They got Tari and whoever they draft tonight Out of it. Just keeping the asset pool as full as it can be. I think some is ready for some vets and some win now players. That’s the only downside to Ime. He’s not really interested in all this development. Everybody knows all the Marcus smart talk is probably more an Ime move because malt rockets fans from what I read aren’t feeling that trad, including me. The same with KD. I wouldn’t be interested in acquiring him for all the suns picks and some of the core six players.

As rockets fans, we can’t even enjoy the draft asset we acquiring because they get attached to some player. All we heard for the last two years is bridges talks. I’m so happy the Knicks sailed that boat. Now we’re goin to hear Kd talk. I wish he would come out and say he’s not interested in Houston. His timeline doesn’t even match up with ours

KD’s best move would actually be to try to push to go home to OKC of all places :heh:

I agree, we don’t need KD unless he plans on coming off the bench and we give the suns nothing but scrubs and late picks to get him. Hell, bring Harden & Westbrook back and make them all ride the bench and run a super second unit (would never happen, but it would be hilarious :mjlol: )
