Where the hood Where the hood Where the hood at
what a silly ass topic..just as dumb as the tournament with all the fake voting and silly ass brackets.

Common sense tells you if he's that weak...shouldn't been the champion in the first place. Taker or Foley would of been just fine..Michaels away and nobody gave a fukk. Lol.

Without Michaels we wouldnt have seen the hottest live performance entrance in history tho

Taker had his fists taped in gorilla

This is something which has been blown way out of proportion

1) Shawn has said that he was not aware of Taker being ready to fight him just in case he never did business

2) Doubt Taker was gonna do anything with HHH backing Shawn

Everyone shyts on him bc of rumors he “didn’t want to job”. Is it that? Or is it being asked to main event Wrestlemania with a broken fukking back maybe? Who else you know showing up almost crippled just to put somebody over on the biggest show of the year:yeshrug:
Almost crippled?? :mjlol: more carny than Vince himself

He put him over, but it's obvious he didn't want to. Undertaker wouldn't have given Shawn an ultimatum if he was willing to lose the match.
My point is about them literally asking him to perform with a broken back, not do a job. The internet wrestling community is so easily worked by stories like these. Dude really made Sycho Sid look like a million bucks in the garden, you think he’d have a problem losing to the hottest babyface ever?

I think he would. Michaels was a proven piece of shyt back then who used backstage politics. Montreal was a thing that happened. He tried using his influence to get The Rock taken out of the main event of WrestleMania XV. And wasn't he supposed to be in the main event of WrestleMania 13 before he lost his smile?

No one is taking anything away from Michaels for going out there with a broken back. But you can't act like this was some noble thing he did for the greater good, or because he thought Austin was the wave of the future.

HBK and Austin were drinking buddies. They had zero animosity toward each other. Anyone who thinks HBK wasn't fully intending on gutting it out and taking the pin at WM14 has been worked.

The taped fist thing is the perfect example of the truth not being nearly as sexy as the exaggerated story.

Na, the main event of XV was supposed to be Mick, Rock, and Austin and when the office asked, he said that it sucks for a Mania main event and should be Rock/Austin. Vince Russo and HBK have both confirmed this in shoot interviews, and foley wrote in his book about it.

I’m not saying dude is a hero or anything, but when people talk about it they generally shyt on him for it. This is what makes no sense about wrestling fans to me. So you’re going to put it out there that a dude is a politician and refuses to put people over, when he literally went out there injured to do that very thing? Watch the match, you can tell he can’t move without hurting. He could’ve easily said his back was too shot and dropped the title or done some bullshyt. But he went and had a decent match. And for what, because mean mark Calloway taped his fists backstage by a monitor that he never saw?:mjlol:
