If they had been consistent this whole time and not had months at a time with no shows not to mention all the times they have had a guest and half of the interview has been for radio anyway or times when they waffle on for 30 mins then the guest comes in and they do 20 mins with him and complain that they run out of time. Or the times when one or both of them have no clue about the artist they're supposed to interview. They would have to step their game up for a good 6 months before I started paying.
this chick wore a "you can get it" t shirt while interviewing Fif. she just screaming industry jumpoff.
nikkas still listening to the radio in 2015![]()
Understood, but tbh the podcast havent had many "off-days" since at least the early parts. But most of that is cuz they go thru issues as employees and the amount of changes that happens in radio, generally. Again, understood. But peep it, they been doing it for free. So its not like they have ads, commercials nor take payment for it like the other podcast we love so to expect them to do it that perfectly with everything fitting as if they havent been doing it after their working hours for free and obviously also have other things to work with & do..its much my dude. Too much expectations imo.
Respect ur opinion as always but i'll have to disagree on this one.
I'm not in NY, i don't listen to Ciph everyday....so all i have to go by are the Hot 97 interviews that are posted on YT. That being said. Ciph on his own was ass....and i knew he wouldn't keep that job.
This nikka made an Aziz Ansari interview boring as fukkYou know how hard that is??

The simps don't care as long as they can have big booty non-black thots as the head of stations.I'm in Philly but Hot 97 is wacksauce right now....hell, for the last several years. When a guy like Ebro is headlining the morning show, then your station is in trouble.
I mean, we're talking NYC. The home of hip hop. The largest media market in the world. And yet their hip hop stalwart station is populated by some of the lamest, most PC, pro-corporate, corniest, non-blackinest employees I've ever seen.
Sidebar-Why is hip hop radio dominated by non-black DJs and radio personalities?
To go from Star n Bucwild and Miss Jones, who got a reaction out of you at least, whether you liked them or not. To this brand of bland, middle of the road bullsh#t is laughable. Cipha seems to be a cool guy but he was part of the problem....just another cream of wheat personality. Why cream of wheat? Because it's just cream of wheat....not great, not bad...not worth remembering.
I watch their interviews on Youtube and there's simply nothing there. Then I watch Power 105's interviews and the energy just kills Hot97.
I say Cipha and everyone else there needs to go. They need to revamp the whole on-air personality crew. Hot 97 needs a re-brand.
Peace
I agree......these pretty ditzy byatches have been putting the nail in the coffin of what's left of hip hop on the radio for the past decade....
mainly cause of their lack of knowledge or appreciation for the rich legacy of hip hop .....
most of these byatches couldn't tell you who da fukk DJ Premier is or the difference between a turntable and a mixer
and what's worst I KNOW DAMN WELL NONE OF THESE "RADIO THOTS" even got a damn DEGREE IN COMMUNICATIONS!!...that use to be a prerequisite to even getting a job as an on air personality
I had to deal with one personally at a Clear Channel station in Georgia several years back....
when I was pushing a single for a production company that happen to make the Station's "Battle of the Beats" competition for best local song....
I was amped....cause not only I felt I did my job in getting the song a good enough buzz to reach the ears of the stations deejays and PD, I also felt in my heart it was a good damn song worthy of play
anyway we make it to the finals at the end of the week, with the winning song being able to go into regular rotation but also have the opportunity of having a meeting with a major label rep.....
and were (me and the production crew) are all tuned in listening to the radio show at the studio
so as the votes were coming in it was a dead heat tie, with the winning vote being held by the on air personality....I thought we was good...cause the deejay was feeling it and gave us his vote
but then this AIR HEAD BYATCH makes this remark as she about to announce her vote
"yeah the other record was cool, but I rocked with these guys last night at the club , so I got to give it up to the fam...."
THIS BYATCH BASICALLY GAVE THEM THE WIN, CAUSE THESE DUDES BOUGHT HER SOME DRANKS
I'm sitting there stunned with the rest of the production crew....
and I'm looking at the bossman of the label ...and he is just spewing out profanity after profanity about this "lame a$$ trick b****.....mane fukk dat h**"
yeah mane we all wanted to RAY RICE that radio slut......
we was naïve thinking it was just our local station like that...but after travels to many towns and markets like Atlanta, Columbia, Jacksonville and Birmingham....
we came to the realization the RADIO IS FULL OF AIRHEAD BROADS who cater to the legions of LAZY, AIRHEAD RATCHET THOT BYATCHES WHOM ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MOST OF THIS BULLSHYT WE HEAR ON THE RADIO............
Yet these slutmonkeys try to compensate for it, by listening to GOSPEL
yup HOT 97 is just one of many places in RADIOLAND where HIP HOP DIED........![]()
