Yeah, from a mainstream standpoint he banked but his filmography is not all that great imo

He gets by with amazing charisma tbh.

Jules Winnfield is one of the greatest characters on film. Sam stays just for that and countless classics that will stand the test of time.

Lawrence Fishburne has played characters on film that will be taught in schools for decades to come. Furious Styles nikka? We talking about Furious Styles brehs.

That shyt alone keeps him in the list.

And then Denzel... that's self explanatory!

From an acting stand point, it can be argued that Laurence Fishburne is more skilled and has more overall range than Samuel and Will, but imo, he doesn't have the same amount of quality movies in his disco as those two. And that is the variable that means the most to me. Whoever has the least amount of classics in their disco, gotta go.

Word. Seriously, if it wasn't for Will, a LARGE percentage of Hollywood and mass public would make the argument that "Black Leads can't sell blockbusters". Will being the highest selling leading man in Hollywood completely tarnishes the idea that black actors cannot sell. Of course he isn't the level of actor as the other 3, but you need both sides, and while he is 4th of the group in acting, he is 1st as far as sales go.

Well white audiences definitely had a trust in Will Smith movies for awhile but I can't bring myself to watch any of his crap since I Robot. Too annoying in general to me. Couldn't even see a damn Eva Mendes movie for him.
