Black slaves were, for the most part, barred from any type of education that would help them be independent of their masters. However, I don't doubt unions having racist motives back then.

Doesn't mean unions aren't one of the best things this country has. Anybody talking down unions is either a rich, self-interested a$$hole or an idiot. Unions have done and continue to do great things for this country.

It's true, Blacks started to take over the South once slavery ended......but then a 2nd wave of evil came and put a stop to it :to:

Learned about it in college, wish i still had that textbook i could type it out word for word what it said :wow:

This is the first ive heard of this. Take over how? Population wise? Makes sense.
Skilled labor? How? Where did they learn these skills that help them take over the south? While it would be a good thing if it was true, again, it sounds like revisionist history nonsense. They were not allowed to learn or go to school, so how would they become skilled workers taking over the job market of the south?

What class did you learn this in?

Honestly, CEOs and top execs taking lower salaries wouldn't have helped their situation.

That's not a lot of money when you're talking about operating costs, paying employees/benefits, distribution, etc. They would have just been prolonging a problem with low sales, risings costs, etc.

All knowledge isn't learned in books breh, hands on knowledge will take you far in the south on the subject of agriculture :ehh:

Blacks were taking seats in government too. You see, once the chains were off we had drive and ambition to use our freedom wisely and taught eachother, helped one another, run businesses/farms...it was literally a takeover going on, but......

...it's truly depressing thinking about it :to:

History class I took in college.

This was all going in the deep south, right after slavery ended. When CACs were more mad than ever. Again, I cant see how. They were farmers and cooks. How were they getting the money to buy and support from each other. Whites were not supporting any blacks during those times in any kind of numbers. Again, im just saying it dont add up, be cool if its true. I just dont see it.

I think the point is that the executives were giving themselves raises up to 300% while proposing to cut the wages of the union workers. I think it would have gone over better if the executives took an 18% paycut with them. An 18% paycut can make or break a wage slave, not so much for someone making over 300K. :yeshrug:

You don't have to take my word for it, research it on your own, but that's what we learned.

There's a lot we were never told..........the more you learn, the more you'll go :dwillhuh: :why: :pacspit: @ white america
