I've started to notice an upward trend in black roles for horror films. I swear, if I had to watch another horror film where a black character gets killed first or gets killed in the worst manner possible (ala Friday the 13th, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, Texas Chainsaw..) out of all the victims, or becomes the "comedic" sidekick, I was going to scream (pun intended).
