I usually defend pits because of this reason. 10 times out of 10, the owner fukked up. Just like we see here.
BUT.... and this is where the argument gets dicey..... Pits do more damage than any other dog. That’s the issue.
If you look up dogs that bite the most. It’s chihuahuas and receivers up top for the MOST bites. Which goes to my point, owners are fukking stupid. You can’t even train little or “safe” dogs not to bite your family. You obviously didn’t learn how to raise it correctly.
it’s just that when pits do bite, it’s not gonna be your hand or arm or no silly shyt. They going straight for the neck. Fatality rate is the highest of all dogs. Which is why I don’t have one. But also why I know exactly how you’re supposed to raise them, so I can get one, when I have the money to get a good bred one AND professional training. Plus space to socialize them, run out energy, and properly keep up with training.
