I swear my parents are the only black married couple up here but we came up from Chicago where I saw nothing but black couples throughout the neighborhood. It's a culture shock for me.
It's not for a lack of diversity, St. Paul is less than 50% white and Minneapolis is getting there as cacs keep leaving for the suburbs.
It's only in Minnesota that black women don't fw me, in Milwaukee Chicago and Indianapolis I never have problems pulling a black woman.

I wouldn't say that it's just Houston, but the south in general as we don't put non-blacks on the pedestal at all and stay among ourselves. Despite my background (African American and Afro Dominican), I've been with mostly black women and they're the ones who also approach me as well, but I would also say it's different with my generation. As we grow up among ourselves, we don't really have an issue with ir dating unless you on some c00n or wench shyt. Thou with our people I agree with when we see a breh with a white girl, unless she is a baddie he's going to get judged harshly thou that's in general with other races as most date down when ir dating as oppose of getting one on their level.So, black houstonians have one of the lowest rates of ir marriage in the country regardless if you compare us to other blacks or non-blacks in large metros.
