Not surprised she didn't escape for some time. Can't blame her too much, she got treated nice at first and gradually escalated to that situation, being called worthless and being abused years would make her think she had no options. Fortunate she was able to escape in the end.

I remember that story few years back too when that black dude rescued 3 girls.
