A lot of my favorite shows just start falling off when it gets this far. Last season was so forgettable, but I kept watching because of my love for Homeland. I'm giving season 5 a few episodes & it's getting the :camby:if it doesn't instantly capture my attention. These shows don't deserve my loyalty anymore.

I don't see how anyone can say season 4 was fire when it took like 5 or 6 episodes to heat up. We had to watch Carrie trying to manipulate that fukkboy in that little ass apartment for WEEKS.

the secret to homeland is holding out a couple of weeks and watching episodes back to back to back, I learnt that way back in season 2 its not the show to watch concurrently with how it airs you will just be disappointed due to your expectations. It isnt 24 and episodes shouldnt be seen as events that rewards the viewer with "instant" gratification

I loved Homeland & enjoyed the first 3 seasons, so I don't feel that method is necessary for this show, at least for me anyway.

In fact, doing that method for season 4 would have been the worst. Imagine watching Carrie & Aayan in that small ass apartment back to back to back to back.

that storyline was actually when the season started gaining traction, given the backstory and (actor's) earnest performance if you didnt find the pay off worth it :ld: yeah it had a slow start but the worse thing about the season was the last 2 episodes which seemed like they literally blew their load and were trying to catch their breath but why do that with a finale? how cocky can you be
