what did she actually accomplish?

She really wasnt doing it to save Keane presidency. She actually was trying to expose Keane in the beginning of the season. She just knew Russia playing with US democracy made her put Country first. She still exposed Russia and help showed Americans how Russia is using disinformation to play with USA. And Russia got sanctioned heavy. I just dont like how they traded top multiple top Russian assets for a carrie who might be completely retarded. You think US would want some type of confirmation she was straight before they agreed to that.

The first half of the episode was intense, I was like :gucci3: when Keane resigned

We all know Carrie will be back to normal next season, she went insane when Dante died then she was fine 10 minutes into the very next episode

I watch season 1-5 last month makes me appreciate the direction that the show has gone.
Carrie on the balcony on some Mission Impossible shyt was appropriate at this point of the show.

I was disappointed when they made it seem as if the vice pres was being a mindless cuck to the weasel senator. The vice pres turning the tables was sweet as fukk, felt respected as a viewer. I really cant ask for more. I'll be really hurt a couple seasons from now when this ends.

Season 7 and 8 were renewed at the same time and was noted Season 8 was the last season. Writers already knew last season is the last since the beginning of writing this season.

Homeland will definitely end after season 8

Claire(Carrie's Actor) also reconfirmed this after the finale.

I actually would of been ok if this was the finale. Carrie gave up everything. Her family and her Sanity for the sake of her country and Saul has to live with the fact he's the reason for this.

But still hopefully they go all out next year. They also confirmed season 8 will have another time jump.
