Yeah, while it was an entertaining watch Season 1 wasn't as interesting or layered as I had hoped. Good to hear this holds better.I'll admit it...I'm 7 episodes into season 2 and enjoying it more than season 1. Season 1 just didnt hit for me. It was certainly more well crafted...just didnt care.
This season I'm hooked...unfortunately...Monae is clearly the weakest actor in this and it shows.

It wasn’t listed as Season 2 until recently. I know when I made my post, it wasn’t, which had me confused. That’s why the title of this thread doesn’t say Season 2 either.If you go to Amazon video, it’s listed as season 2

way better than season 1 which was filled with far too much intrigue for that bullshyt payoff. almost made me pass on season 2

Just finished season 2.
I thought it was good, and had no problem with Janelle’s acting. Thought she did a fine job for her first feature role. I don’t think the writing was as good as season 1, tho, and that’s what really held this back. The ending felt like a whole different show.
I’m guessing this is it for the series, and I’m fine with that.
