What's the accent/language that Cruz's mom is speaking ? It sounds French but his last name is Cruz?? And the actress that plays his mom is from the UK

Probably supposed to be from Haiti or somewhere like that

I'm from Haitian family. She was speaking Saint Lucian creole. It sounds like Haitian kreyol and I can understand it but it's a bit off to where I can tell she isn't Haitian.

The actress from UK and her name looks Haitian as fukk but her parents are from Antigua and Saint Lucia.

I’m 3 eps deep and I’m enjoying it.

Some of you guys breezed through it like a muthafukka, though :russ:

I’m slow playing it and mixing it in with my usual shows.
Yeah luckily these eps are only 30 minutes long, otherwise I would've pushed yet another show on the backburner.

Finished. I liked it. It was really good but not the ending I wanted.

that zoom is from hitchcock's vertigo dolly zoom.

the score was bernard hermann.

coppola and hitchcock meets the manchurian candidate meets eternal sunshine of the spotless mind.

Great little project, great performances, very tight compact storytelling. Appreciated the easy binge.

You drove all that fukking way for that?? You gave up the goods to Collin no problem, but you drive all the way from Florida to still hold back??

I'm tired of Julia Roberts and her games.

Huh?

You mean why didn't she hook up with Walter?

I'm assuming she did after she noticed the fork moved. Because he obviously remembered her. Prior to that I guess she figured she'd fukked up his life enough and if he didn't remember her this was a clean break for him to start over.

Over all I loved the season and although I don't think it hit the highs of "The Haunting Of Hill House" (specifically episodes 4, 5, 6 and 9) I'd say I liked this more. It was just tighter over all.

I don't think anything happened after Walter left the diner. I think she saw that he was happy and well adjusted and was content to leave it at that rather than restore his memories and whatever problems that would reintroduce. The fork thing was just a quirk he has. I don't believe he recognized her* and I don't think she pursued anything further with him.

Just for me it was a big disappointment, because I liked their chemistry. They should have hooked up, don't think they did.

Will there be a season 2? It'd be nice to have a few things answered.

Haven't seen the Haunting of Hill House.

Yeah season 2 is already confirmed.

Homecoming EP Sam Esmail on That Final Scene, His 'Instant Friendship' With Julia Roberts and Season 2 Hints

And there was that after credits scene, remember?

As far as Walter....

I don't think it was a quirk, he originally did it during the therapy sessions to fukk with her. Because she's obviously a control freak. And the first prank he played on her was gluing her pen to her desk slightly moved from where it usually was.

So IMO he definitely recognized her.

But I guess it's open to interpretation. :manny:

You should check out "The Haunting Of Hill House". Over all it's not as strong as this and I didn't like the ending at all but 2-3 of the episodes are GOAT level.

I am a zo too.

I was wondering bruh, some of it sounded so close but yet just slightly off.

Never realized it till now, but seeing Haitians on American TV as a Haitian myself was kind of dope (well, Haitian as far as the show goes, not sure what Walter's actor is himself).

She only gave up the goods to Collin cause she needed comfort and she still didn't have her full memory back at the time. The thought of her hooking up with him after regaining it filled her with disgust.
