It would be like this

Only 10x better.

I love this gif. :wow:

I still don't think Bryan getting the WWE title anytime soon, if ever.

I just can't trust WWE man. Look at how they pushing Curt Henning son right now, or Sheamus and ADR in the past year. They obviously pick and choose the dudes they want to be stars. DB just ain't a chosen one. I feel like they know he's that dude, and they'll give him pushes here and there because of it, but at the end of the day they ain't never gonna put him on that echelon because of his look amongst other things.

I feel like he's gonna have a Chris Jericho type career, and all this is - is their attempt at re-branding him from a comedy act to an aggressive face.

It could happen, but Bryan would have to be over to a level that they absolutely, under no circumstances could deny. Like Jeff Hardy circa 2008-2009 level over, at least. AND he would have to maintain it for at least a year or so. And then he'd have to be put into the right situation, like Eddie Guerrero, Rob Van Dam, Hardy, and CM Punk were to win the belt.

Almost EVERYONE else who held the belt since SummerSlam 2002 were guys that the WWE had a sustained, overly favorable, full-bore push behind before and when they won the belt (That list: Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle, JBL, John Cena, Edge, Randy Orton, Triple H, Batista, Sheamus, The Miz, and Alberto Del Rio. Big Show was a part of a bigger angle and Rey Misterio held it only to job the belt back to Cena later that night. The Rock, naturally, is a special case). So to get to that level, a LOT has to break for Bryan. It could happen, but it's not very likely.

I'd love to see it though.

Having a Chris Jericho type career is not shabby at all. Y2J definitely got his shine here and there. Danielson is also reaching Jeff Hardy level of adoration where WWE had no choice but to push him in late 2000s. But Jeff's road to main event scene took way too long. Let's hope Danielson reaches there faster than that.

I feel what you are saying and I could see this same type scenario happening too. But WWE would be utter fools not to push Bryan to the top asap., No need in waiting any longer. He's been red hot for over a year and this is the time to give him his shine. If they don't do it now they will never do it then.

That pop is automatic with D-Bry. He doesn't even have to try that hard either. He's their No. 2 top face if you ask me and it's not even a question. Hopefully his chance to shine will come sooner than later.
