I was thinking maybe they grew up together or went to middle school and grew from there. They were both nerdy back then but eventually Noelle grew into what she is today. I would say Noelle is a waif too. Borderlines usually think they have a fatal flaw, that is produced biologically and exacerbated when one (or both) of the parents are distant and has high standards (or none) on a child prone to BPD.

Your best bet is to wait, as when you're Black (as in Black/White thinking), anything you do will be seen as hostile. Just hope they send out a feeler. They don't keep you black as long when they're older, but just try to ignore you.

They're amazing, as far as getting an honest person off the jump, but those are some VERY emotionally taxing relationships. It's by experience. Keep living your life, and trying to broadcast successes on FB and stuff (stand out, but dont get crazy). She'd likely have a rebound relationship or two, while still emotionally cheating on them by looking you up. If you're improving, she'd likely drop some feelers or starters to get you talking. It could take years for this though, depending on how they treat her. They NEVER forget who they've loved. It's just that they fluctuate between love and hate quickly when you're Black.
