i'm going to break this down IMO, because I am true baseball fan and I love the game, I love playing and love watching.
The punch by Odor was justified, Joey Batts could of easily broken his leg or his knee by sliding late, the slide was late by todays rules. Yes, Odor could've let the league deal with it but who are we to judge him to deal with it on his own accord, to defend his own manhood, I have no problem with it.
And to the people who say a bat flip does not justify getting hit by a ball.
It's just the way it is in baseball, and everyone knows that and if you don't like it don't watch/participate in the game.
In football when someone over celebrates a touch down they are going to be targeted and people will try to lay them out, it's the same in baseball.
