the money is whatever. but he's been coasing for about 7 years, adding nothing to his game. at the same time, he's cursing teammates out, assaulting teammates, coming to training camp out of shape/late, etc. and getting large extensions for putting in zero work during the offseason. For the last, like, 6 years at least, we wonder if draymond worked on any part of his game for the upcoming season. it's a routine question. He'll knock down a 3 or two, and shoot the ball a little more in preseason, and the people on commentary will be like "well he's looking to score the ball more, golden state will need that. they're an entire different team when draymond is aggressive". Only for him to do that for a week and a half, and go back to taking 3 shots a game.

i dont believe that "going to be coached harder" stuff. Like @BlueHeffner said, that's a shame in the first place. but secondly, the organization is scared of that man.

So yeah. Someone tweeted last month that Draymond's the only dude on the all-defensive 2nd team that couldn't find a way to average 10ppg. he's not gonna do it this coming season.

Warriors are taking suspiciously long to get Saric after reports said it was very likely. So if no Saric, are we just hoping for the millionth time that young players develop enough in 1 offseason to be good enough to contribute for a chip?

He definitely needs to improve his numbers next season.

I still think he's an important piece for Golden State with the way he can impact playoff series and disrupt games.

I'm expecting a motivated Draymond coming into next year.

If y'all can get Saric I love the offseason. Getting Draymond to take an extension that lowers his cap number plus at least adding some big man depth with Saric would be huge. I think y'all sold low on Poole but with the age of the roster don't mind going all in to win ASAP and CP3 will be perfect for getting the most out of Kuminga and Moody and add some experience to the bench. If they can get a few more veteran pieces for the minimum next year could be a great year. I think the big key will be Klay getting over his mental hangups and taking offseason training serious. If he can get back to old Klay defensively this should be a great team next year.
