All they had to do was trade the fukking 2nd pick + someone else for a fringe all-star or maybe even actual all-star. Pacers were gonna send Sabonis or Turner for that package. Two assets in 2nd pick and Poole, that had an actual trade value, gone for salary dump :mjlol:

Warriors best bet now is hope everyone is sort of healthy for the next year playoffs and hope maybe they could have a 2012 Celtics type of run, where with some luck they actually managed to get to the conference finals and put up a fight. That's about it.

They better hope they can sign a big

I just watched a Trayce Jackson Davis highlight tape. He’s like a Looney type of worker with potential post offense. I’m low key hyped.

I wanted them to trade the pick, but if trading wasn't an option, I wanted them to pick this kid. Come to think of it, that's who we got on the Coli Mock Draft too. Low key surprised he fell that far in the draft.

With that said, the moves are awful. All we got now are vet minimums. If they wanted to get rid of Poole, why not trade him for a big or depth pieces instead of that massive overpay for Cursed Paul?

I'm not a fan of taking on CP3 because some shyt always happens with him and he's even older now, but if you're moving Poole you better get another ball handler and creator back because Steph is the only other one who can create off the bounce and it's gonna be hard as hell to get that on vet minimums.

I'm not gonna act like I know a lot about his game, but didn't the Wizards get that Grizzlies PG too? Getting him and some pieces would be interesting.

The biggest problem with CP3 is that we won't really be able to count on him in the playoffs, and if we can't, what's the point?

like everything this organization does, it's to save money as well. With Klay and CP0 on the team, it gives them flexibility to get under the luxury tax for the first time in a long time potentially. a lot depends on what they give Draymond in his extension and what Klay's next contract is as well
