If the Warriors could man up on Bron and AD all game and everyone else could stay attached to their man they'd be winning this series. Yes Draymond has been the primary defender but they are shading towards AD, same with Bron, especially when he goes in the post. It's what is leading to the open shots for the others(depth). Just looks to me like the Lakers have it a whole of a lot easier on offense than the Warriors due sans Curry.
The Lakers defense is more scrambled trying to defend Steph than the Warriors defense is trying to defend AD and Bron.
Again, the difference is, the help for the Lakers is stepping up when needed to and the Warriors' isn't.
Funnily enough, the Warriors have generated more open shots (19% more over the first four games), the problem has been just not capitalizing on it. We saw the same damn thing during the Kings series where Steph had to overextend himself because others weren't performing up to standard. The majority of Lonnie's buckets were self-created in the 4th quarter, hitting tough shot after tough shot; it wasn't like he was wide-open from all the attention on AD and Bron. The Warriors simply didn't have a role player that could step up and replicate what he did.
As I need to keep reiterating, if Poole was even average yesterday (or even Klay), the series would be tied 2-2, and this conversation we're having rn would be entirely different.
