Poole showed the makings of being an elite scorer at his position last year both in the playoffs and when he held it down with Steph out

Problem is he's been SO bad this year especially in the playoffs. The unanswerable question is can he bounce back. I think if you move him it need to be for a good instant impact return though, don't just dump him for nothing.

Personally, I'd move him. He's not gonna be the next Steph (for the next decade or whatever) which was the logic behind the contract.

Once you know something, you need to trade immediately while the rest of the league still thinks the player has value. If the Sixers weren't hesitant trading Simmons, they could've gotten multiple picks + Harden while still keeping Butler. Instead Philly gave up two first round picks to get rid of him
