Bring on them ho-ass lakers
We can make another run next year depending on how the FO approach the off seasonThe Old Veteran Old Battle Horse went through many wars on they last run
Warrior's Fans Enjoy this, soak it up, live in the moment, cherish it because I have a feeling this is our last championship run.
Dynasty ends, like the Celtics and Lakers of the 80's they got to the playoffs but they wasn't the same first and second round exits
Enjoy this playoff run, we going to get the Chip but I don't expect another one
The organization didn’t help in the situation
Then couple that with Dray slick talking “accountability” on his podcast
And that mini TNT documentary
I do believe the rumors that JP became the little annoying brother last summer
After seeing how he dismissed Dray last game and Steph went to talk to him
Which also reminded me why KD got mad and said the way that situation was handled
Even though Dray and him “smoothed” it over
My whole thing is it been a tainted season
No matter what has happened in other locker rooms of years past
You just can’t super sock a nikka and expect him to be the same player or even grow
That mans whole family saw that shyt
The whole world saw that shyt
He couldn’t get no get back at Dray
Front office was more mad about the leak than the actual punch
Fans and other grown ass men were dismissing it
If I had a son and a 30 something year old man punched my kid like that
I would be fukking Denzel Washington in Man on Fire
Dray would be dead and that’s not hyperbole
I’m speaking from a parents position
You never want to see your seed violated like that
The season been a wash because of that tainted spirit in the air
nikkas can’t win because they aren’t cohesive
That phrase
When I eat
We all eat
That’s what I use in my friend group
We may fight or disagree but we’ve never crossed the line with a fist fight
nikkas be cappin when they say
I had a fight with my day ones and we smoothed it out
No you smoothed it out
The nikka that lost still thinks about it
And plotting on when to get his get back
If they lose today
It’s not because the Kings are better than them
It’s because the Kings are a more cohesive unit
You see it in their play
You see it on the bench
Now juxtaposition that with our bench
It’s only so much GP2 can do
It’s only so much mentoring Iggy can do
This shyt will be blown up because ain’t no way to move forward from a violation like that
Either Dray gone or JP gone
But what team is going to take either because both their stocks lookin funny in the light
I'm not so quick to badmouth Lacob.Lacob is a tremendous bytch. He was prolly looking to punt on the core during a championship title defense, but had to be convinced to let go of that fukking bust James Wiseman. nikka was useless for THREE seasons in a row, but Steph/Klay/Dray were at risk of getting broken up on one season
Y'all got to watch and root for this dude for an entire career. Has to be awesome as a fan.
nah, if that's ALL he did, i would understand.I'm not so quick to badmouth Lacob.
Sure his meddling wasn't appreciated. Gotta leave the executing to the executives.
But the team owner has one primary job, CUT THE CHECKS.
And Lacob does that better than anyone.
So many other owners in sports don't even care about winning, just milking their fanbase.
I blame the unfair CBA that punishes owners for drafting, developing, and keeping their star players.
The next CBA is even worse for winning-minded owners.
This will be the last time you see 3 homegrown talents stay with a team for 10+ years, while winning awards and chips.
Enjoy it while it lasts.
nah, if that's ALL he did, i would understand.
issue is as just as u said. he's meddling, doing more than what his job is. He's doing other guys jobs, and hiring unqualified family members. that kinda thing can sink a franchise.
the 400 million that Lacob talks about isnt much larger than what the clippers spend, or what the Nets were spending. the clippers spend more per player. Lacob just talks about his money more. Lacob also just isnt spending smart (i cant stress that enough). He had the money to spend on GP2 and he didnt and let him walk, only to trade back for him and waste more assets AND money. He spent 80 million dollars on Kelly Oubre's dumb ass, and let him leave for nothing. He also didnt use all of the hardship money they got from Klay's achilles injury. So that's a TPE, DPE, and MLE he decided not to use, which is pathetic when you consider the Warriors are worth 7Billion and Chase Center is used annually for entertainment like concerts and comedy shows.
Lacob hasnt earned my respect. He just got in at a good time. Larry Riley, Don Nelson and Jerry West are why we have Steph and Klay. And when Steph and Andre are talking about the ownership taking advantage of them on a podcast, it's really hard to respect what Lacob and his grossly unqualified sons are doing. "Spending" is just a shield to redirect criticism. "How can u blame lacob when he spends so much?" When you constantly wanna overstep your lane and draft nonsense that DIRECTLY affects the chances of the franchise face from competing, thats where we have a problem
Here it is. It’s from andre’s podcastI don't have any emotional feelings either way about Lacob. If he's meddling, we agree, that's a problem. If you don't respect him, that's your right. I don't know him enough to respect or not respect him.
But I just don't see him as the problem. Even with a little nepotism. Maybe it's because I've seen so many worse sports owners.
I'd probably hire my underqualified son, and groom him to be my successor too if I had a multi-billion dollar enterprise.
The Warriors payroll is #2 in the league this year, and back to #1 next year. I didn't get that idea from Lacob talking, that's the fact. I know he does his propaganda interviews with Kawakami. That's his right to influence narratives, and I don't gleam anything from it.
I'm not going to knock a businessman for making business decisions. No one hits all home runs. It's easy to monday morning quarterback anyone about anything.
You blame him for all the mistakes you listed, but I doesn't the GM and/or president makes most of those decisions. Or are you saying he overrides people like Myers, who he pays to make those decisions?
And who gets the credit for all the successes? We are the most successful NBA team over the past decade, both on the court and in the bank accounts.
If you have a link to the interview where Steph and Andre are talking about ownership taking advantage of them, I'll take a look and inform myself.
Here it is. It’s from andre’s podcast

Brehs y'all gotta listen to the Draymond Green Show and how he described Curry speech.
