The Warriors win back to back games against a Portland team that shyt the bed after leading big two games in a row and a Clippers team that has looked pathetic for a while and all of a sudden you are drinking the koolaid again. You want to talk about the 3-7 start but have amnesia to the fact the the Warriors have looked like shyt all season long, months after wiseman was benched.
Wiseman is a net negative player and needed to go but this team isn’t magically good again just because they won a few games in a row against average to below average teams. Reality is going to strike you again, just as it’s been doing all season. You’re at the cycle where you believe this team is actually good again. We’re a two game losing streak away from you being a doomer a again.
nikkas talking about the core because they didnt play perfect each second they were on the court. Steph is 35 in 2 weeks and playing the most minutes he's played since he was in his mid 20's. Draymond, Klay and poole have been playing insane levels to keep this thing afloat, but it's the core's fault they got literally no support. It's the core's fault that they "can't close games." had a nikka making 9 million on the team doing nothing but clogging lanes, who currently has 3x more turnovers than assists/steals/blocks combined. He did his damage. and we are still not where we need to be bc of it.
there's no koolaid. they're a team with very little margin of error. and if Klay doesn't have the best shooting month o f his career, and Poole doesn't go supernova, they are in deep shyt. And it's not their fault. All the issues come from the 2 timeline approach and not giving Steph a veteran team to work with. Had this been LeBron, there would be constant pressure from NBA media to trade every single young nikka on this team and give him vets. But bc it's steph, he better make this shyt work i guess
