This is why the Warriors have had the success they've had because of Kerr understanding what is takes to build a winning culture. This is why for whatever faults Kerr has (like every coach in existence) his methodology leads to winning. I remember folks getting on him for playing JaMychal over Wiseman, not just in this thread, but other Warriors msgboards, and lo and behold, it ended up being the right path to take (even the vets argued for this).
And really it speaks to how Kerr, Steph and Dray have been treated over the last near-decade. They've been criticized and devalued at every turn, largely because they don't fit the norm of what we've come to expect of players/coaches, and they've proven everyone wrong, every single step of the way.
