@Gil Scott-Heroin I’m not playing no games. Keep running head tap and let my son eat in the post instead of spamming split action for Klay and JP.

Nothing has ever stopped Wiggins scoring in this system besides himself. He gets the ball in the halfcourt, he just doesn't want to put his foot on the gas as much as he should.

You been knowing this.

Besides, when has Wiggins in the post ever produced consistent and efficient offense?

Great win. Beal and Porzingis balled out.

Excellent performances from Wigs, JMG, and Donte. Klay attacked the rim a bit too in the first half.

Good to see them deliberately get buckets inside the arc.

Moody and Jerome had good games as well.

TEAM EFFORT. That's what we're going to need to be a threat this year.

No more hero ball.
Looking at you Klay Steph and JP

What was that ticky-tack tech Dray got in the 1st quarter? One more T and he gets a one game suspension.
:hhh:

And why does Monty Poole think Dray won't get a other tech in the final 25 games? Refs can call one on him at any time simply due to him being demonstrative. Monty smoking on that Dubs pack.

I don't disagree that Wigs disappears or hides in the game sometimes. He's not that alpha dog that demands the ball, like we may wish him to be.

But there's plenty of truth in Poole and Klay dominating the ball, or not getting Wigs involved.

Even Kerr admitted tonight that "what we did better as a staff, is we went to him more often. I probably need to do that, more consistently".

Let's just hope they figure out how to get the best of each personality. We'll need everyone at max effort to have a shot this year.

The Warriors are #1 in passes per game
The Warriors are #1 in off-ball movement heat map.

Wiggins is literally not going to get a better situation to get easy scoring opportunities. Klay and Poole dominating the ball isn't even a thing, not when you compare it to almost every other team where there is someone controlling what everyone does on offense. There's absolutely nothing stopping Wiggins from taking matters into his own hands besides himself. He gets to touch the ball more in prime scoring position than he would on any other team. Regardless of all that, he's been in the league for a decade, and he shouldn't need his hand being held to get involved.

Kerr's doing his typical routine and taking the blame away from the player and putting it on himself and the coaching staff to do more.

It's why I've always maintained playing in this system is a cheat code. 99.999999% of players who come through end up having career-best years because of how the system gives them a stage to be their best selves. In all my years of watching NBA hoops, I've seen nothing like that, and that's me compartmentalizing my favoritism and evaluating it for what it is. It is the reason why this franchise has had the success they've had, because they've cultivated an environment that no other team is capable of replicating.

He absolutely can defer and needs to be aggressive. But just look at the end of the lakers game..he got 1 shot attempt I think in the 4. They constantly went to the same action for Klay and JP.

Sure, there's plenty of passes, but there's a "psychological pecking order" for who takes the most shots.

It's no coincidence that Klay is consistently at the top of the shot attempts, whether he has it going or not.

But I don't like going back and forth over minutia.

Some of us agree, and some disagree that the other players, or coaches, have an impact on Wigs scoring opportunities.

We all agree that Wigs can stand to be more aggressive.

So we can leave it at that. Last night was a good look for him. Let's see how he plays tonight in LA.
