Yeah it never fully healed.
He was never "ready" to go. He was kind of pressured from the local media and organization to just "get out" there. And play through w/e he has.
They were saying at this point, his pain was probably more mental than physical.
The blazers were on a bad losing streak, with a bunch of dudes injured, then he suddenly started playing in January.
It didnt help that you had cats like Hart and Winslow playing through injury, night in and out.
I was just listening to the +/- pod that was released today and Slater was talking how GP2 doesn't look the same physically and doesn't have the same spring. fukked up that Billups was on GP2 ass about getting on the court when dude wasn't even healthy.
