If he was really light years, he would have traded wiseman in the offseason while his value was still somewhat high. Instead this is a "oh shyt, i really fukked up" move.

If he was really really Light Years he would've drafted Halliburton or traded the pick for an established vet.



But yeah, people make mistakes. The only thing we can hope is you own up to them quickly and make amends ASAP.

The Dubs FO did a slightly late, and mid job making this right. But at least it's done now.

In fact, they kinda "fixed" their two biggest recent mistakes. Drafting Wise and letting GP2 go.

That makes the Dubs better tomorrow than they were yesterday.

Time to turn the page on Wise but this article from 2019 just was posted on my TL and it's wild how this freelance writer pointed out all of these deficiencies that are still clear as day now and this FO glossed over all of this and still picked him #2.
