If u went into the theater thinking he was the villain again then u got a nice surprise i guess but everyone knew shyt was flip flopped and no one ever complained.

Sure, but that's because the marketing gave it away when Cameron wanted to hold it for a bit. Its a subtle enough reveal, that comes early enough in the film, that knowing it ahead of time doesn't have a noticeable impact because you don't know what you're missing.

I avoid trailers completely. I read about the plot on imdb and base my decision to watch the movie on that.

I just need to seehow it looks, and the tone. And by the time the movie comes out, ive basically forgotten what ive seen.
