dont post again in this thread you sound retarded and dumb

You guys all think you're smart too

This dude said hustlin backwards Adrian Peterson is the most feared player in the league in his prime the hell are you talkin about?
Easy on the namecalling clown.

This team has been hitting 1st rounders out the park. Dude's wanna pay an arm and a leg for a name brand when we can get most of AP's production without giving up a 1st or a big contract.

You're telling me you'd rather have:

30 year old AP making 13 mil

over

5 years of a cheap, talented 1st rounder (Zack Martin & Travis Frederick the last two years) and Greg Hardy (about the same cap # as AP)

:scust::camby:

If we give up a mid rounder for AP :win:, but that 1st rounder is a premium pick.

I'm torn on the AP thing.

I mean he's a absolute beast, and acquiring him would immediately put us as super bowl favorites. I think he'd be good for at least 2-3 years. It would destroy us cap wise though and set us back a few years as well...worth it tho, if you get a SB or two out of it...

Won't lie, I think I like the idea of drafting that guy, saving the money and possibly attacking those post June 1 cuts. I like building with young cheap guys you draft and supplement that with some good FAs. Packers, Patriots, and Ravens do this to a T. They continually win and we are starting to follow this.

Again, not saying we shouldn't make the deal, I'm saying we need to be VERY careful on how we do it, it's something that will hurt us severely if it doesn't work...

For the Big12 heads, how is Malcolm Brown? Never really seen him play.
Hes a beast breh. He will be a 1-tech in Marinellis scheme. He is 6'2 319 lbs. Hes the same size as Brent but with pass rush ability and he stays in the backfield. One thing he needs to improve is strength at the point of attack. I think the Boys will covet him if hes available because he can actually rush the passer and they can plug him in at the 1 or 3 and in the nickel. He may not fall to us due to his pass rush ability unlike Sharif Floyd who fell a few years ago because he couldnt rush the passer. I changed my mind from wanting Gurley in the first to this guy because:

1. Lack of interior pressure is what got us sent home last year in the playoffs. Nick Hayden is the worst tackle in football (the Jeff Heath of defensive linemen)

2. There are other backs we can grab in the second or third who will be good behind this line (Coleman, Ajayi, yeldon)

Look at it as a win/win scenario breh. If we do get Ap:

1. We can focus soley on the defense in the draft and improving the pass rush.

2. We would have possibly the best offense in the league

3. We would be huge SB favorites

If we dont get AP:

1. We can get Todd Gurley or Melvin Gordon (if they are available) in the first and get possibly 5 good-great production from them behind this line at a small price. Imagine this offense with Dez in his prime and Gurley :wow:

2. The money AP would tie up on our cap could go to re-signing Hardy next year as well as whoever is top FA corner (carr will definately be gone)

3. We still will have a good chance to win the SB because our defense will be a lot improved as we almost made it last year with a bad Defense and no pass rush.

If i could choose between the two I would choose AP so we can win while Romo is still here

True...and to be completely honest with you, I'm not sold on taking a RB with the first pick. There are some REALLY good backs this year, most won't go first round. We don't have to put our anchor down on a RB, if a DT or CB is there and they are better/rated higher on the draft board we should take them. Way I see it, why take the 3rd or 4th best back when you could have the 1st or 2nd best DT? Value is where Im going with that...

but I do like Tevin Coleman from Indiana and the RB from Boise State (who we've been drafting good players from, seemingly every year Scan, DLaw, etc). They both remind me of Murray a bit, in the fact that they're "complete" backs who can do a bit of everything...

I think he will be gone by #27. If not we need to take him. He would be a good fit in Marinelli's scheme as a pass rushing 1tech. He's country strong and is much quicker than you would expect at 320 pounds. This is a "Charlie Strong" type of recruit, not a "Mack Brown" type. He's got the intangibles you want and was known as the enforcer on the team if somebody wasn't doing their job. When he was a sophomore, a senior olineman tried to check him on some bullying/hazing type of shyt...he laid his ass out in the middle of locker room. He's married, with 2 kids....he's mature and about his business.
