front four... Crawford is the only one whose job should be somewhat safe
I don't know. Let's say the Lions choose to sign Suh and they can't afford Fairley. I'd take Fariley to start along side Melton. I think Lawrence will be an every down player next year too. He's already put on the additional weight he needed due to injury. Once he goes through a full summer program, he'll be official. He showed flashes.

Thoughts on DeMarco Murray brehs?

I'm of the opinion that our running game stems from the O-line. Also, n todays NFL, the RB position cannot be a big salary position. Therefore, we should not be wasting valuable cap space on Murray, given his injury history and fumbles. Having said that, I would still take a shot at a team friendly deal or AD if he becomes available.
I don't even think it's about, "whoever we plug in will be successful..."

I'm thinking about team chemistry and the relationship that he has with other players in our offense. Him and Dez are like brothers...and I understand this is a business but they really see themselves as the new age triplets. Hopefully we can get Demarco on a Sean Lee kinda, incentive laced deals.

I wouldnt mind going after Orakpo for the cheap either @dtownreppin214 With all the money we're about to have to spend this offseason, we're gonna have to gamble on premium talent for the cheap.

I like Mincey and Crawford but I don't see our defense being dominate with them being starters on our DLine :manny:

You want to pay Melton? I didnt see enough of doggy to warrant that extension

Yup, similar to what I said about Orakpo...we're gonna need premium players for cheap and Melton is that. He had 3 game stretch we he showed dominance (take the Jax game with a grain of salt) but that's when his injury affected the amount of snaps he got.

As long as he's healthy, bring him back.

Like @who_better_than_me said, we need to replace hayden. Re-sign melton to another incentive deal andet spencer walk. Draft an edge rusher to replace selvie in the first round. Keep mincey mclain as depth and rotational players only. Last but not least, do whatever it takes to get a cover safety to replace wilcox. Im tired of him whiffing on tackles and taking bad angles.

Cobb fumbled the kickoff directly into James Hannah's hands. Still didn't recover...

If Dallas recovers that game, they could have finished the game there. Could have went up 28-13 and if Bailey made his fg, it's 31-13. BAH. Then again though, Rodgers missed some wide open throws today.

my thoughts

1. good a another D coordinator
2. Cut Carr
3. Draft a DT, a DE, and CB
4. really weigh the Adrian Peterson vs Demarco Murray thing and pick one for 4yrs max (NOT 5)
5. keep Linehan
6. sign Free for backup money. I think Parnell won the job

He gone.. that fumble sealed it for me. This upcoming draft is loaded at RB, and if we can get AP I'd rather have him over Murray.
